Gul Saleh
Meet Gul Saleh, our esteemed President and Chief Executive Officer, a distinguished Professional Engineer (PE civil) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP). With a Ph.D. in Urban Planning & Design and over 30 years of extensive engineering experience, Dr. Saleh is a visionary leader in the industry.
Dr. Saleh's expertise extends across various domains, including construction inspection and management, technical advisory services, and quality control/quality assurance. He has spearheaded numerous high-profile projects in the DMV area, showcasing his commitment to excellence.
Beyond his local achievements in the US, Dr. Saleh has left an indelible mark on international projects, particularly in Afghanistan. With a remarkable track record managing donor-funded initiatives, including those for USAID, the United Nations, and Afghan governmental agencies, he has been instrumental in driving positive change and development in the region.
A seasoned professional, Dr. Saleh is deeply involved in professional associations, including the Project Management Institute (PMI), Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Notably, he has held significant positions in the Society of Afghan Engineers and currently serves as the President of ASCE’s Bull Run Branch of the Virginia Section.

Joining the esteemed Gul Engineering Team as our Civil/Structural Engineering Consultant, Dr. Faizan brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His academic expertise is matched by his practical acumen, making him an invaluable asset to our team.
Not just confined to academia, Dr. Faizan is actively engaged in shaping the discourse of his field. As a diligent journal reviewer and the author of over 20 publications, he has contributed significantly to the advancement of structural engineering.

Currently, he collaborates with a distinguished U.S. professor, focusing on assessing structural damage under dynamic forces, a testament to his commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
